Ecokins plush is made from 100% post-consumer recycled water bottles PET and recycled paper, which helps to save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Wild Republic continues the company’s promise to the planet by reducing the amount of plastic waste that affects our environment. Our focus is on preventing the 60 million single-use water bottles used every day from ending up in landfills.

To make the adorable Ecokins stuffed animals from water bottles, the bottles are first shredded, cleaned, sanitized, and melted. The fibers are then spun into an ultra-soft fabric yarn, from which the fabric, fiber fill, and sewing thread are made. It's hard to believe that these stuffed animals started out as water bottles, considering how incredibly soft and cuddly they are. Furthermore, the embroidered eyes and nose are made from recycled thread, making them safe for babies. We also use recycled paper hangtags printed with soy ink and cotton string instead of plastic cord.
